Prescribed Wellness Psychiatry is a physician-owned psychiatry group at 3800 Barham Blvd, Suite 416, Los Angeles, minutes from the Burbank studio lots and near Universal Studios. Our psychiatrists join as independent contractors (1099), set their own schedules and see patients in person at Barham, by secure video anywhere in California, or both. Three roles are open: adult, child and adolescent, and geriatric psychiatry.

Three roles are open. We're accepting applications from MD and DO physicians.
Board-certified or board-eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry, to open pediatric and adolescent care at the practice.
Board-certified or board-eligible in general psychiatry, treating adults 18 and over across the full range of conditions.
Board-certified or board-eligible in geriatric psychiatry, for older adults including late-life mood, memory concerns, and end-of-life care.

Where you would practice
In person at 3800 Barham Blvd, Suite 416, off the 101 between Universal City and Toluca Lake, with parking in the building and furnished, sound-protected rooms inside our own suite. By telehealth, our video visits run on athenahealth and reach patients anywhere in California, so a fully remote week from elsewhere in the state is possible. Most of our psychiatrists mix the two; the mix is yours to choose. Patients come to us in English and Spanish.
What the practice handles for you
Credentialing and payer enrollment with the plans we accept. Billing, claims and collections. Scheduling, intake, prior authorizations, refill requests and patient portal messages, handled by our administrative team. Malpractice coverage under the practice's policy. Furnished office space for in-person days. Weekly case conferences with colleagues and invited speakers.
