Accessibility
How to reach us if any part of this site is hard to use.
Our commitment
Prescribed Wellness Psychiatry is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
We are working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of caring for our patients, not as a separate compliance exercise.
What we have done
-
Text and interface colors are tested to meet AA contrast requirements.
-
Every feature can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible.
-
Pages use proper heading structure, descriptive link text, and alternative text on images.
-
The site is tested at mobile and desktop widths, and at 200% zoom.
-
Motion is reduced automatically for visitors whose devices request it.
Where we know we fall short
We would rather tell you than let you discover it:
-
Some third-party tools we rely on — including our patient portal and appointment scheduling — are built by outside vendors, and we do not control their code. We test them and raise problems with those vendors, but they may not fully conform.
-
Some older documents may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. We are working through them, and we will provide any document in another format on request.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site, or any form or document we ask you to complete, is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. We want to fix it, and in the meantime we will get you the information another way.
In person: 3800 Barham Blvd, Suite 416, Los Angeles, CA 90068
We aim to acknowledge every report within one business day, and to tell you what we can do and by when. You will never need to explain why you need an accommodation.
Requesting information another way
You can ask us for anything on this site — appointment details, forms, billing information, patient instructions — by phone, by email, in large print, or read aloud to you. There is no charge and no form to fill out first. Just ask.
