None of that is a character flaw. All these cause stress and burnout.
The people we see are used to solving problems under pressure, they show up prepared, and they want a doctor who is direct with them. Dr. Sanchez has cared for this community for years and intends to keep doing so as the practice grows.

Does my studio or guild health plan cover psychiatry?
Usually, yes, with one common catch: many entertainment plans hand mental health benefits to a separate company from the one on your medical card. That means a psychiatrist can be in your medical network and still not be in your mental health network. We suggest calling the memberline on the back of your insurance card to see if we are in network. We also gladly provide super bills to you if we are not in network. You can submit the superbill to your insurance provider and they will usually help pay for your visit.

How do you fit visits around a production schedule?
We keep early and late appointment slots, and follow-up visits can be done by telehealth when you are in California. We offer concierge services so you schedule with us outside of regular hours.
If you know a shoot is coming, tell us at your visit so refills and check-ins line up with your call sheet rather than fighting it. If you will be working out of state, raise it early: psychiatrists generally have to be licensed where you are physically sitting during a telehealth visit, so a trip can change how we stay in touch.
